Bedford Day is an annual event that offers various town activities throughout the entire day on Saturday, Sept. 23
The event gives an opportunity for nonprofits to raise money, but it's also about locals catching up with friends, said Amy Hamilton, director of recreation for Bedford's Recreation Department.
It's a great day for Bedford to celebrate itself, she said.
One of the attractions of Bedford Day is the town parade at 10:30 a.m.
Bedford police officers, Bedford Fire Department, Bedford Youth Soccer, Girl Scout troops and politicians will walk from CVS, 199 Great Rd., to Bedford High School on Mudge Way.
Bedford Day will also offer a fair in the Town Hall Parking lot from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The fair will provide more than 100 vendors, including food vendors, nonprofits, local clubs and organizations
