Several small business owners gathered in the Richard Reed Room at Town Hall for a workshop on improving the storefront and in-store experience for customers. The workshop was led by Christine Moynihan of Retail Visioning and was made possible by a grant to the Town by the Massachusetts Department of Housing and Community Development. The Office of Economic Development will select a few businesses who will work directly with Moynihan and will receive $500 to implement her suggestions. Applications are available from Alyssa Sandoval and are due June 27.
Prom Stroll: May 31, 2019
Over 200 BHS students and their dates gathered on the Common for the annual Prom Stroll. Red was the theme of the day, as captured in the class photo on the steps of Old Town Hall. Barrett Sotheby’s again sponsored the class photo and the Stroll. Many thanks to the Bedford Police and Fire Departments for ensuring another smooth year! And many thanks as well to the parents and residents who donated to fund the police detail, allowing the Prom Stroll to remain on the Common this year.
